Most gutter cleaning jobs we quote for do not need ladders thanks to the advancements in technology over the last decade or two.
Professional gutter cleaning companies now tend to use gutter vacuums and other telescopic tools (kit on the end of long poles) to first remove obstructions like debris, moss and clumps of dirt, then wash out what's left. That means there's no ladder climbing required in most cases.
There are some visits that still do need ladders though, usually because of difficulty accessing the guttering, soffits and fascias from the ground level. These will be completed in the safest possible way, both for the contractors and people in the vicinity including the home owner.
